Between 11th and 12 July 2016, representatives from ResiStand’s 14 partners were brought together in Delft, the Netherlands, for the joint kick-off meeting of work packages (WPs) 2, 3, 4 and 6. Work packages 2, 3 and 4 each focus on one of ResiStand’s three stakeholder communities: the Standards Advisory Group (WP2), the End-User Community (WP3), and the Supplier Community (WP4). During the two-day meeting, ResiStand’s partners discussed the different methods that will be used to engage with these communities, which will include interviews, surveys and workshops. The information collected will be used to understand the drivers, constraints, expectations, needs, and new ideas of the three stakeholder communities. By working with these communities to identify the gaps in standardisation, ResiStand will develop a prioritised roadmap for future standardisation activities as part of WP5. In addition, ResiStand’s WP6 will create a new, sustainable process to improve and more effectively capitalise on the potential of standardisation.
