The 8th March 2017 saw the last of a series of four ResiStand workshops take place in Rome, Italy. The series of workshops that brought together end-users and experts from industry and research included:
- Helsinki, Finland - 24 January 2017: This workshop was for the end-user community and focused on identifying standardisation needs
- Brussels, Belgium - 1 February 2017: The Brussels workshop included parallel workshops with a workshop for end-users on standardisation needs and a workshop for the supplier community on standardisation opportunities
- Berlin, Germany - 22-23 February 2017: The Berlin workshop was for the end-user community and focused on identifying standardisation needs
- Rome, Italy - 8 March 2017: The Rome workshop included parallel workshops for the end-user community and the supplier community
The workshops began with introductory presentations to provide information on the ResiStand project and the scope of the workshop. The participants then split into groups with the end-user groups focusing on identifying standardisation needs and the supplier groups identifying new standardisation opportunities. Both end-users and the supplier community were involved in identifying the drivers and constraints to standardisation.
The findings of the workshops will be made available in deliverables that will be published in early May 2017. To be informed of their release, please join one of our three stakeholder communities here. The next ResiStand workshop will take place in September 2017 - for updates, please register to a community.
